Overall, these are the most comfortable composite toe work shoes I have purchased. I am not a fan of the shoes that lace up I have previously purchased. I have posterior tibial tendonitis and the shoes were too tight on my tendon causing a great deal of pain. I took a coworkers advice ordering boots this time and I also ordered a wide this time per his advice. I never wear a wide but I think it has helped my comfort level with these boots. My feet still hurt but I am not in such pain I can barely walk when I leave work. So, I think these boots have helped me to deal with wearing composite toe work shoes.

I wear a 7.5 wide. I ordered these in 8 wide. Perfect!! These are actually wide, unlike the black ones. I can lay all my little piggies down & they don’t touch the sides. That’s very important to me. I generally wear “barefoot” shoes. I wish they came in more colors. No breaking in period. No slip. I like not having laces to tie. Go up a half size.

This was a rather restrictive fit in the toe area. If I had gone a 1/2 size up, perhaps it could have felt better, but I think most safety toe shoes have a design flaw and all of them need both a wider and a higher toe box for max comfort. The insole provided felt too narrow for the boot and made the outside of the arch support hit on a strange place on my arch. I returned these boots.

After reading reviews I ordered these a half size bigger and they fit fine. The insole has a very high arch which I do not like but they are easily removable. I wear barefoot shoes almost exclusively so it takes a minute to get used to having insoles. They are pretty cute. Large toe space which is super nice so my toes aren’t all squished together.

They hurt bad and after a few hours, my feet are narrow and I have small ankles so these are too wide for my foot. ?

I was so excited after a long day at work(10 hours on my feet) to find that my replacement shoes had arrived. HOWEVER, these are more narrow than the ones I replaced. I ordered a wide because my feet need a bit of extra room to handle the daily swelling. If these are wide, I would hate to think of what the regular size would look like!
