Stiff at first but are breaking in nicely. They feel slightly big and aren’t as comfortable as I hoped. A pair of inserts seems to be accommodating those issues. Overall foot protection is good. Slightly heavy but nothing I can’t get used to. Leather is nice. Highly visible reflectors in the front. Haven’t had the opportunity to test the waterproofing yet. They look nice on. Overall a good boot, however, I would expect better comfort for the price.

Boots are kinda heavy and loose around ankles if you have skinny ankles. Also run big.

My honest size is a 8 women’s, but I decided to go down half size and that was the best decision I made, I will still be able to wear thick socks and insert the insole which i also purchased from zappo on behalf of amazon thank you!

I got these through the Amazon Zappos credit. I bus/walk to work so a sturdy, waterproof shoe is really important to me. I have only worn them for a week so far and could feel them starting to feel more comfortable by the end of the week. They are a bit heavy, but if you get the tightness of the lacing right the distribution of the weight will not strain the ankle. I am a true size 9 with flat feet and these shoes felt just the right size. I gave a 4 for comfort since I agree with another reviewer that I thought these boots would be comfier haha, but it maybe just because I am not used to wearing composite toe boots. The pain I felt was from my big toe rubbing on the sides of the boot but thicker socks alleviated that for me. I may buy some insoles later, depending on if I’m doing a job with even more walking.

Visually it’s a beautiful shoe. I ordered the extra wide and did nothing. Size-wise it was perfect I’m 9 women and got the men’s 7 fit perfectly except way too, painfully narrow. The steel bone crushes my pinky too. I love the boot but I can’t wear it for more than 5 min cause steal composite toe crushes my pinky, let alone several hours in an Amazon warehouse. Such a shame. I ordered it wider too. I just ordered a new pair of Timberland Pro in men’s I hope it doesn’t crush my toe ill update on that later because I need a boot for work!

The boot itself was great…all around-color, style, fit, etc…I just needed to return them because they are heavy. I work 10+ hours a day and that’s alot on my feet every day.

They look alright for being steel toe boots but they are too heavy for me. I didn’t find any comfort in them while I was working, my feet were hurt for at least 2 days after worked 10 hours.
